What’s Your Mindset?

Consider the following scenario:

Pause and Reflect

  • Recall a situation when you felt confident in your ability to solve a problem. Did you have the courage to share your solution or did self-doubt hold you back?
  • Reflect on the first girl in the video who hesitated to raise her hand and share her answer with the class. Why do you think she might have felt reluctant?

What is a Growth Mindset?

I can’t do it, yet.

  1. Consider the talents or abilities you have developed through dedicated practice and hard work.
  2. Share an instance when you encountered a learning struggle or experienced failure. How did you feel during this challenge? Did you persevere or give up?
  3. What motivated you to persist in your efforts or what caused you to give up when faced with a difficult task?
  4. In what ways can adopting a growth mindset contribute to achieving your goals and attaining greater success?
